Sovereignty and God’s A Plan (Blog)
The Cross Was Never Plan B
Before the first star lit the sky or the first blade of grass pierced the earth, the cross was already in the heart of God. Redemption was not an afterthought, not a desperate fix to an unexpected failure. It was the eternal plan, born from a love so deep and fierce that nothing—not even the fall of man—could derail it. When Adam reached for the forbidden fruit, the shadow of the cross had already fallen across the garden.
Christianity in the News
In America, we pride ourselves on being free. Free to do whatever we want within the law. Opportunity to participate in free enterprise. Anything we want and have the abilities and talent resources to pursue the American Dream, we are told we can own it. Freedom. This is a right of Americans written into the Bill of Rights by our founding fathers. In the declarations, Americans are guaranteed Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

PROPITIATION
In the context of Scripture, it refers to the act by which God’s righteous wrath against sin is satisfied or appeased. It highlights how a just and holy God deals with the penalty of sin while offering mercy. In the Berean Standard Bible, this concept appears in key New Testament passages such as Romans 3:25 and 1 John 2:2, where Christ’s sacrificial death is presented as the means of propitiating God’s wrath on behalf of sinners.
Devotions With Strength
Christian Devotions
Daily devotion time with God is SO important! These weekly Christian devotions use everyday object lessons to give you a focal point for your time with Him throughout your day.
Proverbs 17:22 says: "A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones."
Having an everyday object to remind us of our devotion time can be a trigger to bring us right back into the awareness of His presence with us throughout the busyness of life!

Chasing Sunsets
On painted ponies, we ride so bold,
Chasing sunsets, as the day turns gold.
With cowboy hats and lassos in hand,
We gallop through fields, across the land.
The skies turn pink, and the sun sinks low,
A shining light, in the evening glow.
With laughter and dreams, we race through the night,
On our painted ponies, oh, what a sight!
Stars twinkle bright, like jewels up high,
As we whisper secrets to the moonlit sky.
With every hoofbeat, our hearts take flight,
Chasing sunsets, till we say goodnight.
“Remember this, and be assured; Recall it to mind, you wrongdoers. Remember the former things long past, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, ‘My plan will be Established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure’; Calling a bird of prey from the east, The man of My purpose from a distant country. Truly I have spoken; truly I will bring it to pass. I have planned it, I will certainly do it." Isaiah 46:8-11
